Cover for the Vicentina Aranha Park

In April 2025, I began designing a cover for the monthly schedule of Vicentina Aranha Park, located in São José dos Campos, Brazil. The illustration was published in the May 2025 edition. The project was commissioned by AFAC – Associação para o Fomento da Arte e da Cultura (freely translated as the “Association for the Support of Art and Culture”).

The cover was meant to depict children playing in the park and enjoying nature. It also needed to include some of the park’s resident animals: guinea fowls, a turkey, and roosters.

I sketched some ideas, which are shown above:

Then, I experimented with color palettes. I imagined one version with sunset tones and another with brighter, daytime colors.

Here are a few examples of how my illustration was applied.

This park is one of the nicest in São José dos Campos. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity!
