Capi and the Night

Here, we find a small house in a tree trunk, inhabited by our little friend, Capybara. It seems he heard a noise outside and decided to investigate, likely suspecting it was Mr. Fran, the frog.

I really enjoy envisioning these miniature worlds and their houses. In this one, a weird balcony decorated with a vase is interesting, because it surprisingly never falls, even in the face of strong winds. This balcony is accessible via a narrow wooden staircase.

Capy’s living room features a table and chairs positioned near big windows, allowing him to observe the outside surroundings while enjoying a meal. Additionally, his house has a large entrance door, making it easy to bring in the woods and branches he collects during his walks.

About the Drawing:

This illustration was entirely created using Procreate. The interaction of lights and shadows was made possible by the flexibility of its multiple layers.  For the background, I used a digital paper too. Brushes and papers from Lisa Glanz’s shop. =)
